Marketing Specialist (Email & Digital Campaigns)

4-Month W2 Contract | Onsite in Seattle, WA

Russell Tobin is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support one of our largest, most recognizable global e-commerce clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-impact marketing team focused on email, onsite merchandising, and customer experience campaigns. This role is 100% onsite in Seattle, WA and is a 4-month W2 contract with potential for extension.

Responsibilities

• Drive the creation and implementation of new automated email programs.
• Lead development and execution of onsite customer experience (CX) and merchandising campaigns.
• Build and deploy email marketing campaigns that drive traffic and support sales.
• Report on campaign performance, progress against goals, and email KPIs to senior leadership.
• Contribute to the long-term vision and strategy for the email/CRM roadmap.
• Partner with design teams to support creative asset production.
• Edit and publish onsite content using a CMS, including basic XML and HTML updates.
• Create and edit content for symphony and sonar campaigns.

Basic Qualifications

• 3 years of experience designing and executing digital marketing campaigns across email, mobile/on-device, and/or display.
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create on-brand, customer-focused messaging.
• Proficiency with Content Management Systems and comfort editing basic HTML and XML.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data manipulation for both high-level and granular analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating cross-functionally and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree required (BA/BS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale email marketing programs.
• Familiarity with A/B testing or multivariate testing.
• Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting.
• Experience using Quip.
• Proficiency with analytics tools and web traffic reporting.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to scope, prioritize, and execute projects under tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable driving action in a fast-paced environment.
