Partner, Corporate & Business Transactions
Location: Hybrid – Silver Spring, MD (with additional offices in the region)

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Partner, Corporate & Business Transactions to join our firm in a hybrid capacity based out of our Silver Spring, Maryland office. This role is ideal for a senior transactional attorney with a demonstrated ability to originate and grow client relationships while advising businesses on complex commercial matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate and manage a portfolio of business clients
- Advise clients on a broad range of transactional matters, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Business formation and restructuring
- Commercial contracts and agreements
- Real estate transactions (asset acquisitions, leasing, dispositions)
- Lead transactions from structuring through closing
- Collaborate with other partners and practice groups to cross-sell services
- Mentor associates and contribute to practice growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Active bar admission in the State of Maryland (required)
- 10 years of experience practicing corporate and/or business transactional law
- Demonstrated history of originating revenue and developing client relationships
- Portable book of business of $500,000 strongly preferred
- Substantial experience in one or more of the following:
- Mergers & acquisitions
- Business formation and governance
- Commercial transactions
- Real estate transactions
- Strong business development mindset and client-service orientation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Salary : $150,000 - $300,000
