We are a Denver boutique that defends builders, developers, and contractors in complex construction defect and casualty matters. - Take primary ownership of construction defect files from intake through mediation, trial, or settlement, driving cases to resolution on time and within client expectations.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and fact witnesses that lock in key facts and strengthen our defense posture.
- Draft, file, and argue dispositive and discovery motions that narrow issues or dispose of claims before trial.
- Retain, prepare, and work with construction, engineering, and damages experts so their opinions hold up under scrutiny.
- Participate in case strategy sessions with partners and clients, recommending practical next steps that control risk and cost.
- Maintain regular, clear client contact so builders and insurers always know status, exposure, and recommended action.
You will work alongside recognized construction-litigation partners in a collaborative, team-oriented firm. Hybrid home/office flexibility, underground parking, monthly lunch-and-learns, and direct mentorship are standard. You report to assigning partners and have immediate access to experienced colleagues, CDLA membership, and covered Colorado Supreme Court dues. Compensation is apx. 125K-160K plus discretionary and production bonuses.
- 2–6 years of civil litigation experience with demonstrated deposition, motion, and case-management skills.
- Active Colorado bar admission (or ability to obtain promptly).
- Genuine interest in construction defect and casualty defense; prior construction experience is required
- Sound judgment, strong writing, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Willingness to learn specialized construction issues quickly and take ownership of files.
