Customer Service Representative

We’re partnering with a leading music retailer that is expanding its Kansas City Contact Center and hiring a new class of full-time Customer Service Representatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong customer-service background who wants to build a career in the music industry.
Previous call center experience is not required. If you've worked in customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurants, sales, or another fast-paced customer-facing environment and you're a strong communicator, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Support customers by phone, email, and chat
- Answer questions and resolve customer concerns from start to finish
- Build rapport and create a positive customer experience
- Help customers with products, orders, musical instruments, gear, and accessories
- Recommend additional products when appropriate based on customer needs
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Document customer interactions using systems such as Salesforce
- Develop your knowledge of musical instruments, gear, products, and promotions through ongoing training

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurants, sales, or another customer-facing environment
- Comfortable communicating with customers over the phone
- Ability to handle challenging customer conversations professionally
- Reliable, professional, and able to learn quickly
- Comfortable using computers and digital communication tools
- An interest in music and musical gear
- Music retail, audio production, music technology, or sales experience is a plus - not required

Compensation: Approximately $20–$22/hour
Location: Kansas City, MO – 100% onsite
Employment: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Schedule & Training
Initial training is expected to run Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Central for roughly 6–8 weeks. After training, assigned schedules may vary for weekday hours and Saturday availability.
Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Kansas City and able to accommodate the required schedule.
