Role focusYour mission is reliability. You’ll prevent downtime, accelerate efficiency, and uphold quality by maintaining and improving our equipment and processes.
What you’ll tackle- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on blow molders (EBM, SBM), conveyors, packers, and automated systems.
- Handle complex issues that require research, adaptation, and advanced problem‑solving.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with hand/power tools, meters, and PLC interfaces.
- Coach fellow technicians; share technical know‑how and standardized methods.
- Work side‑by‑side with production to limit downtime and optimize performance.
- Ensure consistent cross‑shift communication and complete end‑of‑shift documentation.
- Keep meticulous maintenance records and CMMS (MaintainX) updates.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Translate issues clearly to both maintenance and operations stakeholders.
- Follow LOTO, GMP, and PPE protocols, promoting a strong safety culture.
- 5 years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
- Depth in mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and factory automation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, prints, and schematics.
- Exposure to machine shop and fabrication tools (mills, lathes, grinders, welding).
- Comfort with CMMS platforms and PM scheduling.
- Self‑starter who collaborates well with teams.
