What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childrens Coordinator (Midweek) - North Campus position at Prestonwood Baptist Church?
Provides oversight of Midweek at Prestonwood Baptist Church – North Campus (“PBC-NC”).
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Midweek weekly ministry
- Lead Midweek training for PBC-NC
- Recruit, coordinate, and communicate with Midweek parents and/or volunteers
- Oversee communication to volunteers
- Work closely with the Communications department on all Midweek communications
- Prepare Midweek tracker sheets and record participant information weekly
- Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
- Assist in enhancing and growing Midweek
- Coordinate with Children’s staff regarding visitor information and parent involvement
- Work closely with Children’s staff on any ministry needs
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC-NC
- Beginner skills with Microsoft Office products
- Strong communication, both written and oral
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a face-paced environment
- Ability to learn and use church management system
- Able to perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and use of stairs, and to lift at least 30 lbs. without assistance
