What are the responsibilities and job description for the PSO Coordinator position at Prestonwood Baptist Church?
Oversee the administrative functions of Prestonwood Sports Organization (“PSO”) and provides support to PSO directors with budgeting, marketing and other office duties as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the office operations of PSO
- Prepare and submit of purchase orders, check requests and other financial transactions for PSO needs
- Assist in the preparation and tracking for annual budgets
- Support PSO sports directors’ financial management by providing forecasts and monthly reports of their sports leagues and camp budgets
- Ensure PSO events are entered and approved through the Prestonwood Baptist Church (“PBC”) system and process
- Oversee completion of volunteer screening requirements for PSO volunteers
- Generate the contract process for various sport leagues, vendors and trainers
- Oversee collection and appropriate handling of all incoming funds
- Process refunds, unpaid balances, registration disputes and fund transfers in Sports Connect
- Process and manage the PSO scholarship process
- Provide scheduled reports as needed
- Oversee summer camp revenue reporting and payment processing
- Assist in planning sports league events and meetings
- Verify CPR/AED/First Aid certifications for all PSO staff remain up to date
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC
- Passionate about the mission of PBC and PSO
- Previous experience in office administration or management
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills required to include Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication, time management and project management skills
- Maintain First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility for evening and other scheduled activities and events PBC and PSO when required
- Ability to work at a desk with a computer screen for extended periods of time, while performing some physical activities requiring moving one’s whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, and lifting up to 20 pounds without assistance
