Preston Recruitment is partnering with a leading national mechanical contractor seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent for a large-scale data center development in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
You’ll take ownership of daily mechanical field operations, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and installation activities to deliver safely, maintain quality, and meet project milestones.
This opportunity suits an experienced field leader with a background in complex commercial, industrial, advanced manufacturing, or mission critical construction.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical field operations across HVAC, piping, and plumbing installations.
- Manage foremen, journeymen, apprentices, and subcontractors.
- Plan manpower requirements and monitor field productivity.
- Coordinate installation activities with project managers, the general contractor, and other trades.
- Maintain safety standards, installation quality, and schedule commitments.
- Resolve field issues and support inspections, commissioning, and project turnover.
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Superintendent.
- A strong background in large-scale mechanical construction.
- Experience delivering mechanical projects valued at $10M .
- Proven ability to lead large crews and coordinate multiple subcontractors.
- Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $130,000–$165,000 base salary.
