Inventory Control Analyst

SUMMARY:

Oversee daily inventory concerning cycle counting, inventory reconciliation and system inquiries. Providing a productive and safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Basic understanding of physical inventory and cycle counting process.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• 2 years of leadership experience

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred and/or five years of previous supervisory/management duties in a distribution environment, logistics or manufacturing environment.

SPECIFIC SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Strong people-to-people skills
• Strong math and systems AS-400 Skills
• The ability to effectively communicate with the staff and have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• AS-400 and Microsoft Excel
• The ability to multitask; work independently, and with general guidelines.
• The ability to maintain a safe work environment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Language skills allow employee to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals.

• Able to lift and carry 35 pounds regularly and consistently.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Walk, bend sit, squat, twist, lift and carry on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
