Prestige Staffing is looking for a Medical Tech who has worked as a Diagnostic Tech, Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, military medic, or other like fields working with patients. This role will be to work with an ENT practice as a Vestibular Technician in Southfield, MI area. Tech will perform a max of 4 diagnostic tests series a day spending about 90 min with the patient. Ideal candidate will be technically savvy, ERM trained and highly motivated. This is a contract to hire role and will get lots of hands on training.
Schedule: Maximum 8 hour shifts
Location: Onsite daily Monday - Friday
Training: Candidate MUST be able to travel to Atlanta, GA for one week of initial onboarding

Bi-weekly payroll frequency
$28-$32/hour based on experience and education
Overtime pay
Technician Incentive Commissions - paid monthly

Duties
- Performing vestibular function tests, including caloric testing, videonystagmography (VNG), electrophysiology, and rotary chair assessments
- Prepare patients for testing by explaining procedures clearly and ensuring their comfort and cooperation
- Operate specialized equipment accurately, following established protocols to obtain reliable diagnostic data
- Maintain detailed records of test results, patient interactions, and medical supply inventory
- Support the maintenance of testing equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance
- Collaborate with the clinical team to schedule appointments efficiently and manage patient flow
- High School Diploma or GED-equivalent (REQUIRED)
- Prior experience working in a clinical or medical setting, preferably with audiology or vestibular testing is highly desirable though job training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and empathetically to patients of all ages or with complex medical needs
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, CPT Coding (ICD-10), and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)
- Ability to operate complex medical equipment with precision and troubleshoot technical issues effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage time while maintaining high level of patient care
- Must be able to maneuver patients safely
