Prestige Staffing is searching for a healthcare vendor is seeking a Patient Account Representative for contract to potential hire. The ideal candidate should have health insurance experience in medical claims billing as well as insurance follow-up. This is a remote position yet must live in Atlanta, GA due to having to go into the office periodically for training, onboarding, etc. Normal business hours Monday – Friday with some flexibility based on your availability. Pay $18.00 - $23.00 per hour based on experience and equipment is provided. Must be set up at home with a designated quiet work space and high speed internet.

Requirements
- Billing of medical claims (hospital, clinic, and/or physician), insurance follow-up, etc.
- 1 year experience using Meditech, Allscripts, EPIC or Cerner experience is an added bonus)
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable communicating in writing or on phone with hospital staff and management
- Work with insurance companies on an as needed basis to determine status of payment on claim submissions
- Worked with clearing houses
- Worked on denied claims as well as insurance follow up experience
- Provide required information and documents to clients.
- Submit client meeting reports to manager or supervisor.
- Provide support and assistance to other teams/staff.
- Provide feedback to management on areas of improvements.
- Initiate measures to research and resolve client raised issues.
- Collaborate with clients to identify and implement value added services.
- Maintain spreadsheets, databases or reports used to share outcomes and opportunities with management
- Organization and attention to detail and follow-up will be key to this role
