Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer, particularly with low-latency client/server applications.
- 4 years of Linux/Unix experience, preferably with Red Hat.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python or Perl.
- Experience supporting trading or financial applications is a plus.
- Knowledge of protocols such as FIX or Multicast is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to analyze production issues, support changes, and implement testing solutions.
- Lead session-level, functional, technical, failover, and performance testing across application, hardware, firmware, OS, and network layers.
- Review code and develop comprehensive testing scenarios based on requirements and design documents.
- Analyze data from QA and production environments to create effective testing tools and scenarios.
- Maintain and enhance testing automation in Python or Perl to ensure high-quality system delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during development phases to build, test, and validate systems.
- Monitor and identify negative changes in QA and production environments, working promptly to resolve issues.
- Improve testing efficiency and automation processes across projects.
- Support operational validation, methodology adherence, and audit requirements.
