Requirements
- Strong experience designing and improving security architectures in Azure and enterprise Microsoft ecosystems.
- Proven ability to assess security posture, identify control gaps, and architect remediation solutions aligned to best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure security services (e.g., Azure AD/Entra ID, identity and access management, threat detection, and security hardening).
- Strong understanding of Microsoft security tooling and architecture (e.g., Defender suite, Sentinel, Purview) and operational best practices.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of security architecture improvements from discovery through execution.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into actionable architectural guidance for stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the organization's Azure and Microsoft security environment and current practices to determine effectiveness and risk.
- Design a remediation roadmap and lead architectural improvements to establish or refine security best practices.
- Architect and implement security controls and configurations to strengthen protection across the Azure environment.
- Partner with internal teams to prioritize fixes, remove blockers, and drive adoption of recommended architectural practices.
- Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, ensuring solutions are scalable, sustainable, and measurable.
- Document architectural decisions, findings, and implemented changes to support ongoing security operations and governance.
