Full Charge Bookkeeper

Prestige Legal Solutions, P.C. is a Los Angeles-based law firm specializing in California lemon law. We represent clients across the state who have purchased defective vehicles that qualify as lemons.

We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our firm. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, and be familiar with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Online. Must have a knack for balancing the books and staying on top of financials.

This position will be involved a wide range of tasks, from balancing accounts to entering data into QuickBooks and creating financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Efficient with Quick Books online Maintain approved chart of accounts.
• Continuously review operating costs/expenses.
• Reconcile accounts regularly.
• Develop and document standard operating processes.
• Develop and manage the approval and reconciliation of the payroll process.
• Process manual checks as necessary.
• Make Deposits.
• Work with an outside accounting firm as necessary.
• Maintain compliance within the scope of responsibilities and confidentiality.
• Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
• Advanced spreadsheet proficiency is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to treat the information confidentially and with sensitivity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent in accounting preferred.
• 2 years of experience in Accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting systems, Quick Books Online is required.

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00/ per hour
