Prestige Trucking Insurance is a fast-growing commercial insurance agency specializing in trucking and transportation risks. As we continue expanding our wholesale division, we are seeking an experienced Wholesale Insurance Program Manager to lead and manage carrier relations, ensure regulatory compliance, and grow our carrier network.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Manager with wholesale insurance experience. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day program operations, manage key relationships with carriers and MGAs, drive new appointments, and ensure all business is underwritten and administered in full compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and program partners
- Negotiate new appointments and contracts with carriers and MGAs
- Oversee program guidelines, workflows, and underwriting procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Maintain and update compliance processes, licensing, filings, and documentation for each program
- Monitor and analyze program performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Stay up to date with state and federal insurance regulations and ensure company adherence
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wholesale insurance or insurance program management
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines, particularly transportation/trucking insurance (preferred)
- Proven experience managing carrier relationships and contract negotiations
- Deep understanding of insurance compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Active 2-20 or equivalent Property & Casualty License preferred
