What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiting Assistant position at Presque Isle Rehabilitation Service, LLC?
Recruiting Assistant
Always searching. Always connecting. Always building the bench.
Location: Edinboro, PA 16412
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8 am - 5 pm with some flexibility (based on business needs)
About Us:
Presque Isle Rehabilitation Service, LLC (PIRS) is a medical case management, vocational rehabilitation, and medicolegal solutions company serving auto no-fault, liability, and workers' compensation claims. Our promise is simple: Navigating Care. Delivering Results. We live our core values every day: Compassion, Innovation, Integrity, Quality, and Reliability.
About the Role:
Great care starts with great people. As our Recruiting Assistant, you'll keep PIRS supplied with skilled case managers and build our panel of physicians for IME coordination. You'll recruit independent contractor case managers, W-2 employees as needs arise, and physicians who join our IME panel … not as employees, but as panel doctors available to schedule independent medical examinations with our patients when an account requests one. Internally, we call this seat the Talent Scout's Cap.
What You'll Do:
- Recruit independent contractor case managers to support PIRS caseloads.
- Recruit W-2 employees as organizational needs require.
- Recruit physicians to join the PIRS panel of doctors for IME coordination, accurately representing panel participation.
- Draft and place job postings; source candidates through job boards, networks, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial outreach, and coordinate interviews and next steps with leadership.
- Maintain organized pipelines and records of candidates, panel physicians, and recruiting activity.
- Own and report your weekly KPIs and participate in cadenced weekly team meetings.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong outreach and relationship-building skills … comfortable picking up the phone and contacting case managers and physician offices.
- Professional written and verbal communication.
- Organization and follow-through across multiple open searches at once.
- Persistence, resourcefulness, and a good eye for talent.
- Proficiency with standard office software and recruiting or record-keeping tools.
- Discretion with confidential candidate and physician information.
Why You'll Like Working Here:
We run on EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System), which means you'll always know exactly what success looks like in your seat: clear accountabilities, measurable weekly KPIs on a team Scorecard, and cadenced weekly team meetings where issues get raised and solved … not buried. If you like structure, clarity, and a team that actually follows its Proven Processes, you'll feel at home here.
