What Youll Do
Greenhouse Operations
- Receive, inspect, unload, and organize plant material, soil, pots, and supplies
- Maintain clean, organized greenhouse spaces to support efficient workflows
- Assist with deliveries and installation setup as needed
Plant Care & Maintenance
- Water, prune, fertilize, groom, and monitor plant health
- Assist with Integrated Pest Management (IPM), including pest and disease identification and treatment under supervision
- Support propagation efforts such as sowing, transplanting, and potting
Environmental & Systems Support
- Help monitor and adjust greenhouse conditions (temperature, humidity, light)
- Maintain tools, hoses, irrigation systems, and environmental controls
Inventory & Record Keeping
- Log plant care activities, treatments, and supply usage
- Track inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
Quality, Safety & Representation
- Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism
- Represent the company positively with vendors, coworkers, and at times, customers
- Follow all safety protocols and comply with OSHA and other applicable regulations
- Be willing to work on customer sites when requested
What Were Looking For
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (if driving is required)
- Pesticide Applicator License (must have at hire or obtain within first year)
- Basic horticulture knowledge (plant care, pruning, fertilization, pest/disease recognition)
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while following direction
- Comfortable with data entry and record keeping
- Willingness to learn greenhouse systems and IPM techniques
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying environmental conditions
- Commitment to professional conduct and appearance standards
