- Confirm that all safety devices are in place and operational.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks.
- Ensure product hooks are sufficiently clean to achieve proper grounding.
- Verify hanging method is safe and effective.
- Pick up and hang parts as required on overhead conveyor.
- Phosphate and dry parts thoroughly.
- Mask and plug all areas required.
- Tack cloth parts as required.
- Powder coat parts according to Job Traveler (work order).
- Move parts on overhead conveyor to the curing oven, set oven temperature to curing specifications.
- Perform cure test and mil spec test to assure quality and repeatability. ```{=html}
- Keep work area neat and orderly to avoid slips, trips, and falls. ```{=html}
- Consider pallet weight and stacking methods to maintain safe capacity.
- Adhere to all weight ratings on the overhead conveyor. ```{=html}
- Maintain log of preventive maintenance on a daily/weekly schedule according to manufacturer recommendations.
- Alert supervisor of any maintenance or repairs that require outside services.
- Observe equipment operation to detect defects or equipment malfunction.
- Notify the supervisor of any problems and suggest changes that will allow jobs to run more efficiently. ```{=html}
- Once certified, operate the battery-operated pallet jack.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned to help Prescott Metal achieve its goals. **Inspection Requirements:**
- Verify print specifications match the work order specifications.
- Verify masking and quantity of the order to be powder coated.
- Check for any material defects or damage that will not provide the required finish specification.
