- Salary range: $150,000 - $210,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and the abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.
- Review existing construction drawings with an initial focus on IT networking and communications requirements for a new Military Construction project (MILCON) located in Southern California
- Support Engineering Change Requests and Requests for Information as needed
- Coordinate for installation of 8 different classified and unclassified networks and 2 Telecommunications (phone) systems
- Building will house 250 seats; most seats will have multiple networks
- Create a recommended procurement list for any networks that require complete or partial replacement
- Work with Government points of contact to procure necessary hardware
- Anticipate 100% Level of Effort on-site in CA for first 6 months of this task, then 50-75% thereafter
- Coordinate directly with Construction team to include NAVFAC Construction Manager, MILCON Project Officer, end user, existing IT team, and contractors.
Requirements:
- Senior Systems Architect or Engineer with strong Information Technology (IT) Background and Project Management experience
- Experience with IT and Security requirements for constructing a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)
- Have an understanding of and experience with the DoD's Risk Management Framework requirements to achieve Authority to Operate
- Familiarity with:
