Summary
Managing the flow of goods, from unloading and verifying incoming materials to preparing and dispatching outgoing products, focusing on accuracy, inventory control, and warehouse shop organization using forklifts, while maintaining safety and detailed records. Qualifications:

- Forklift certification
- Minimum of three years experience with sit-down forklifts
- High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Receiving: Unload trucks, verify contents against orders, inspect for damage, and properly stock items.
- Shipping: Transfer products to and from trucks, trailers, and storage areas
- Maintain accurate counts, update records, perform cycle counts, and keep the storage locations organized
- Operate forklifts to move trailers, pallets, crates, and other goods throughout the facility
- Complete shipping/receiving logs, scan inventory, process paperwork, and track shipments
- Complete pre-use and post-use daily inspection forklift log
- Safely operate forklifts, or other material handling equipment
- Communicate with internal staff (accounting, leads, supervisors, production) and external parties (vendors, carriers)
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Assist with cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliation to support warehouse distribution accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned
- Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers in a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP software for inventory control.
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures along with order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
- Skilled in picking & packing items efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and proper equipment handling techniques.

Physical Requirements:
- Less than 10% of work is accomplished indoors in a well-ventilated facility.
- Greater than 90% of work is accomplished in a Warehouse shop facility.
- Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms, repetitive hand wrist motion, and legs, and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, standing for long periods of time, and handling materials.
- Required to wear mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
- May be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
