Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resource professional to support day-to-day HR operations. This role will handle a wide range of human resource functions, including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, talent acquisition and administrative support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support daily HR operations across the employee lifecycle (hiring, onboarding, development, and offboarding)
- Lead recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews.
- Administer and maintain employee records, HRIS data, and personnel files
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training for new hires
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
- Help develop and update HR policies, procedures, and job descriptions
- Perform other Human Resource activities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
Associates degree or higher from a qualified institution; OR two years related experience in Human Resources or similar role.
- Knowledge of HR practices, recruiting, employment law, and compliance requirements
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must display a high degree of judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner.

Physical Demands:

The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet – typical of what is generally found in an office setting. The employee will occasionally find it necessary to enter a manufacturing environment. The manufacturing environment is typical of that type of setting – employees may be exposed to inclement weather, loud noises, tripping hazards; and there may be exposure to sparks, welding arc, open flame, and moving equipment.
