Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the care plan, facility policies, and applicable regulations.
- Monitor resident or patient condition and promptly report changes to the appropriate clinical team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and within scope of practice.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and documentation as needed.
- Support the care team with day-to-day clinical needs and communication.
- Accurately complete charting, observations, and other required records.
- Promote comfort, safety, dignity, and quality of care at all times.
- Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe care environment.
Qualifications
- Current and active practical nursing license in good standing.
- Ability to work full-time day shift hours.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic knowledge of nursing practices, documentation, and safety standards.
- Experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or similar setting is preferred.
