Company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee two major site modifications to its existing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rail Infrastructure Expansion:
- Oversee design and construction of new railroad spurs and connectors into the facility.
- Coordinate with engineering firms, transportation authorities, and internal logistics teams.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rail regulations and safety standards.
- Canal System Development/Relocation:
- Lead the planning, permitting, and construction of a new/relocated canal to support site operations.
- Apply hydrologic engineering principles to ensure proper drainage, flow, and environmental alignment.
- Engage with environmental consultants and civil engineering teams, as needed, to ensure sustainable water management.
- Project Management:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, risk mitigation plans, and progress reports.
- Serve as the point of contact for contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor site activities to ensure safety, compliance, quality, and timely execution.
- 8 years of experience managing complex industrial or infrastructure construction projects.
- Proven expertise in rail infrastructure planning and canal/hydrologic system development.
- Strong background in manufacturing, or heavy civil project environments.
- Familiarity with permitting processes and working with regulatory agencies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- PMP certification is a plus.
