What we are looking for:

Premier Property Maintenance is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be multi skilled and responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various vehicles and machinery with minimal supervision.

**Duties:**

- Maintain a fleet of light and medium duty trucks, trailers, snowplows, construction equipment, mowers, and other lawn and landscape related equipment.

- Perform and document routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery

- Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions

- Repair or replace faulty components

- Conduct thorough inspections of engines, transmissions, and other systems

- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs

- Keep detailed records files of all work performed

- Keep shop clean and organized.

**Skills:**

- Proven 5 years experience as a Mechanic

- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Attention to detail and precision in work

- Ability to work extremely well with others

**Preferred Skills:**

- Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program

- Extensive previous experience working as a Mechanic

- Experience working with various vehicle makes and models

- Experience with small engines

- Experience with construction equipment and diesels.
