What you’ll do
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Local Route Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a company box truck to deliver goods on local routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while providing excellent customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operate a box truck to transport goods on assigned local routes
- Hand unload and deliver products at customer locations and company facilities
- Verify delivery documentation and maintain accurate records
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide courteous and professional service to customers
- Assist with warehouse duties when needed (loading, organizing, staging)
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid driver’s license (CDL not required for most box trucks)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Previous experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle physical work
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Customer service focused
