Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Premier Medical Consultants, LLC
Las Vegas, NV Full Time
POSTED ON 8/21/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 9/19/2026
We are a new, independent pediatric practice opening in the southwest Las Vegas Valley, built around thoughtful, evidence-based pediatric care, strong relationships with families, and a supportive clinical environment.

We are looking for an experienced Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner who wants more than simply stepping into an established role. As an early member of our clinical team, you will have the opportunity to help shape how our practice cares for patients, supports families, and operates from the beginning.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric primary care, including well-child visits, acute/sick visits, immunizations, developmental and behavioral screenings, sports physicals, and preventive care
  • Evaluate and manage common pediatric conditions, including asthma, ADHD, eczema, allergies, and other acute and chronic conditions
  • Provide newborn and infant care, including feeding, growth, development, and anticipatory guidance
  • Collaborate with our pediatricians and clinical team on complex, unusual, or escalating cases
  • Counsel families on nutrition, development, safety, behavioral health, and preventive care
  • Help develop clinical protocols, triage guidelines, workflows, and patient education materials as we build the practice
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the EHR
  • Participate in a shared after-hours telephone triage rotation

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Active Nevada APRN license, or eligibility and willingness to obtain licensure prior to start
  • Active Nevada RN license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • National board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-PC) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) with significant pediatric experience
  • DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain
  • Current BLS and PALS certification, or willingness to obtain prior to practice opening
  • Ability to successfully complete credentialing with commercial insurance payers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two or more years of outpatient pediatric primary care experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience working in a private or independent practice setting
  • Comfort caring for newborns and providing breastfeeding/lactation support
  • Experience working independently while knowing when physician collaboration or escalation is appropriate

Compensation

Base salary: $120,000-$140,000 annually, based on certification, pediatric primary care experience, and Nevada licensure status at the time of hire.

Beginning in month 13, the position is eligible for a productivity bonus tied to visit volume above an established threshold.

Benefits

  • 3 weeks of paid time off
  • 7 paid holidays
  • 3 paid CME days
  • $2,000 annual CME allowance
  • Reimbursement for Nevada APRN and RN licenses, DEA registration, and national certification fees
  • Employer-paid malpractice coverage
  • Professional membership dues

Why Join a New Independent Practice?

Practice with meaningful autonomy.

Nevada provides full practice authority for qualifying APRNs, and our clinical model is designed to allow experienced advanced practice providers to practice at the top of their license. Physician collaboration is readily available when needed without unnecessary oversight of routine clinical decision-making.

Help build the practice—not just work in it.

Our protocols, workflows, triage standards, patient education materials, and clinical processes are being developed now. Your experience and ideas will have a direct impact on how the practice operates.

Work in a collaborative clinical environment.

You will have access to pediatricians for consultation and complex cases while maintaining appropriate independence in your own patient care.

Join early and grow with us.

As one of our first clinical team members, you will have the opportunity to help establish the culture and clinical standards of the practice as we grow.

We are looking for someone who is clinically strong, collaborative, comfortable with autonomy, and excited about helping build an independent pediatric practice from the ground up.

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
