Pulmonics Plus is a growing Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine practice committed to providing exceptional patient care. We are currently hiring for the following two departments Back office and Sleep medicine.
We are looking for motivated, adaptable, patient-focused individuals who can work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment and support our providers and patients.
1. Back Office Clinic Assistant
The Back Office Clinic Assistant will support the clinical and administrative workflow behind the front desk, working closely with providers and the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support providers and clinical staff with day-to-day patient care activities.
- Prepare patients and rooms for provider visits.
- Assist with patient flow and ensure smooth movement through the clinic.
- Maintain and update patient information in the EMR.
- Assist with medical records, referrals, and documentation.
- Support pulmonary testing and other clinical procedures as assigned.
- Coordinate with front-office and clinical staff to maintain efficient workflow.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
- Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
- Previous medical office, clinical, or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems is an advantage
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment.
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn and support multiple clinic functions.
2. Sleep Clinic Assistant
The Sleep Clinic Assistant will primarily support the Sleep Medicine department and assist with the coordination and administration of sleep-related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with scheduling and coordination of sleep-related services.
- Coordinate sleep studies, consultations, follow-ups, and related appointments.
- Communicate appointment instructions clearly to patients.
- Assist with patient registration and updating patient information.
- Support sleep-related administrative and clinical workflows.
- Maintain accurate records in the EMR.
- Communicate with patients regarding appointments and required preparations.
- Coordinate with providers and team members to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
- Perform other Sleep Medicine-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
- Healthcare, medical office, sleep medicine, or patient-care experience preferred.
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable explaining instructions and communicating with patients.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Comfortable learning new systems and procedures.
- Patient-focused, dependable, and professional.
- Willingness to undergo specialized training in Sleep Medicine and sleep-related workflows.
