Dietary Aide Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including washing and peeling vegetables, and setting up food stations
- Serve meals in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that residents receive their meals at the scheduled time
- Maintain a clean and organized dining environment, including clean dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies
- Participate in special events and activities, such as holiday celebrations and themed meals
- Collaborate with the dietary team to develop menus and ensure that dietary needs are met
- Keep accurate records of food and supply usage, and report any discrepancies to management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a food service or healthcare environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
