- Coordinate, and implement activities that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being for our Memory Care residents
- Assess resident interests and abilities to develop tailored activity programs
- Lead and facilitate group activities, including arts, crafts, music, and recreation
- Encourage and support resident participation, ensuring inclusivity and engagement
- Maintain accurate records of resident activities and progress
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic care and support
- Participate in resident assessments and care planning meetings
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe activity area
- Prior experience in a long-term care or senior living setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work effectively with seniors with dementia and other cognitive impairments
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
