Cross Keys Village offers on-the-job training for those who are passionate about caring for older adults, with the opportunity to climb a “career ladder.” Such goals can be achieved by following the example below:
- Tier 1 – Personal Care Attendant (Non-Certified Caregiver)
(minimum high school diploma or equivalent – training will be provided on the job). This is ideal if you have little or no prior experience, or if you have had some caregiving experience at home - Tier 2 – Personal Care Attendant - Med Tech
(in-house training is offered to pass medications and provide treatment to residents) - Tier 3 – Resident Assistant (Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA class/PA certified)
- Tier 4 – Resident Assistant - Med Tech (Certified Nursing Assistant and Med Tech trained)
(Certified Nursing Assistant and Med Tech trained) - Tier 5 – Lead Personal Care Attendant or Resident Assistant
- Tier 6 – LPN

Our current needs include:
- Evening Shift Weekend Opition; working every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
- This position is eligible for full-time benefits and to receive 6 bonus hours - work 24 hours and paid for 30!
- On-call as needed, with the ability to work evenings, nights and weekends.
- Any hours worked on evenings, nights and weekends are eligible for a shift differential of up to $3.25 more per hour.

Our Brookside Memory Care Residence is a specialized personal care environment for individuals with a diagnosis of neurocognitive disorder or dementia, designed to provide an optimal environment during the intermediate stages of their disease. CKV team members work together to provide Brookside residents with guidance, cueing, the right level of stimulation and interaction with others who understand the progression of their condition.
Job Description:
As a Personal Care Attendant or Certified Nursing Assistant working at Brookside, your scope of responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting Residents with activities of daily living and general housekeeping. Personal Care services include, but are not limited to, assistance with hygiene, bathing, dressing, incontinence management, applying/removing medical devices, and care of clothing.
- Documenting observations and interventions in Residents’ medical records.
- Administering Resident medications and completing required documentation. Successful completion of state mandated training program required.
- Working in collaboration with Community Life to create a homelike environment and encourage Resident involvement.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Prior experience working with older adults is preferred.
- Current enrollment in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate style of communicating with residents, families, team members and guests of CKV.
