Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Outside Sales Representative based in Rocky Mount, NC. The assigned territory an ag sales rep to work with current and new customers in Edgecombe, Johnston, and Wilson counties. The representative will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, conducting sales presentations, and providing exceptional customer service. Other responsibilities include understanding customer needs, promoting products and services, and staying informed about industry trends and product offerings.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Sales Presentations and New Business Development
- Proven ability in Relationship Building and Customer Service
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions
- Knowledge of agricultural, construction, or landscaping equipment is a plus
- Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed
