School Age Summer Teacher

Kid's Castle in Kenosha is a licensed childcare center seeking Full-time Teachers for our School Age Summer Program. Our summer program runs June 15th - August 10th. This is a seasonal position.

To beQUALIFIEDfor this position, we require a high school diploma or GED and classroom experience at a licensed center.

Required Shift:Full-time, Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm.

Compensation: $15.50 - $17.50/hr.based on education and experience

MainJob Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspectsof the camp programin a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activitiesthatencourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative,and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism,and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
• Createandmaintainan environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family toprovidequality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running,and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
