We’re seeking a Marketing Director to lead the execution, operational management, and performance optimization of the marketing function in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. The Marketing Director translates strategy into actionable marketing initiatives and oversees day-to-day operations, project workflow, and cross-functional coordination. This role leads the creative and digital execution team and ensures all marketing initiatives—across digital, content, and design—are aligned with brand and organizational goals and optimized for performance and ROI.
The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic, and analytical leader with expertise in digital growth, user experience, analytics, and emerging trends.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, collaborative marketing team
- Translate strategy into integrated campaigns across digital, content, and design channels
- Oversee marketing operations and workflow from concept through execution
- Manage the full marketing lifecycle: intake, prioritization, planning, and delivery
- Approve briefs, creative concepts, messaging, and campaign launches
- Ensure all initiatives are on brand, high quality, and aligned with organizational goals
- Partner cross-functionally to drive alignment and timely execution
- Provide strategic guidance on digital performance, website experience, and content
- Analyze campaign performance and optimize for engagement, conversion, and ROI
- Deliver clear, data-driven insights to senior leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, scalability, and effectiveness
- Stay current on regulatory requirements, industry trends, and emerging tools
Qualifications:
- 7 years of progressive marketing experience across digital, content, campaigns, and brand; bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred
- Experience in nonprofit, mission-driven, or small to mid-sized organizations strongly preferred
- Proven ability to build or improve marketing processes and drive results
- Strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience leading or supervising team members
- Proficiency with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, SEMrush, and Google/Meta Ads
- Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms
- Familiarity with website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow)
- Strong analytical skills, including reporting and dashboard development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in financial services, credit unions, or banking is a plus
- Knowledge of ADA/WCAG accessibility standards preferred
