Senior Accountant

Preform Solutions, Inc. is a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturer serving the packaging industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. In this role, you will primarily manage accounts receivable functions, while also supporting accounts payable, purchasing, and other accounting projects as needed. ## Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, customer billing inquiries, and customer rebilling as necessary
• Post journal entries to the general ledger and complete bank reconciliations
• Assist with accounts payable processes as needed
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records and implement corrections
• Maintain and improve internal financial controls
• Record and report sales tax
• Prepare annual 1099 forms for company contractors
• Create purchase orders and assist with general ordering of production supplies
• Communicate with supply vendors regarding lead times and ensure timely ordering based on inventory levels
• Support administrative tasks such as answering phones and guest check-in as needed
• Assist with providing financial reporting for external partners such as CPAs or banks as requested
• Regularly communicate with the management team regarding accounting matters
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the accounting department
  
  

## Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
• 5 years of accounting experience preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office required
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High mathematical aptitude
• Ability to research and resolve issues independently
