Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to make a real impact in agriculture? PIPESTONE is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our FarmBooks team!
In this role, you will perform complex financial analysis, support producers with accurate farm financials, and help strengthen our accounting systems to support farm success across the region.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare detailed financial & statistical reports for business leaders
- Support and enhance accounting procedures & system processes
- Maintain expertise in our financial accounting software and assist users
- Reconcile general ledger and sub‑module accounts; resolve discrepancies
- Assist with financial statement prep, cash flow analysis, and monthly packages
- Support annual attest engagements and regulatory reporting
- Run database queries for financial research and operational insights
- Analyze overhead, payroll & cost allocations; recommend improvements
- Assist in tracking all debt-related transactions
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business (experience may substitute)
- 2 years of accounting/finance experience
- Strong understanding of account analysis, financial statements, and complex transactions
- Agriculture experience is a plus—but not required
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
