What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Desk Receptionist position at Preferred Rehabilitation?
FULL-TIME/PART-TIME
Our receptionist is the first point of contact for our patients; therefore, a positive and professional impression is crucial.
Duties would include but are not limited to:
1. Provide superior customer service to our patients and guests.
2. Greet and welcome all visitors with a positive and professional attitude, while directing them to their intended department.
3. Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
4. Answer phones and direct calls as needed.
5. Provide administrative support.
The ideal candidate must have the following requirements:
1. High school diploma and one year medical receptionist preferred.
2. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a positive attitude.
4. Ability to multitask.
5. Proficiency in using office equipment including copiers, printers, telephone systems, scheduling software and Microsoft Office Systems.
6. Professional appearance and positive demeanor.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
