Responsibilities include: Registering patients accurately, verifying insurance, completing check-in and admission procedures, conducting financial discussions, validating patient identity, assisting with documentation, answering department calls, escorting patients, and performing clerical duties. Adherence to confidentiality policies and system accuracy is essential.
Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED required, with at least 1 year of customer service experience. Healthcare experience and knowledge of Patient Rights, HIPAA, and Medicare guidelines are preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, ability to learn medical terminology, and proficiency in system use. Must be able to handle physical demands and work in a patient-facing environment.
Additional info: Position is on-site, with remote work guidelines for work environment setup. No supervisory or budget responsibilities. Must comply with all policies and perform other duties as assigned.
