Responsibilities Include
Additional duties: Night call from home, occasional virtual care, and after-hours shifts at various locations.
Ideal Candidate: Experienced in newborn care, capable of managing high patient volumes, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing newborn rounding, managing all calls from nurses, and consultations
- Performing newborn rounding at a high-volume hospital with a Level III NICU and overseeing approximately 4,000 deliveries annually
- Handling an average of 19.5 babies per shift, with a minimum census of 5 babies
- Participating in night calls (1 night out of 25) and occasional virtual or after-hours care at multiple locations
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital delivering around 9,000 babies yearly
- Ability to receive hospital privileges
- Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics
- Preferred NICU experience
