Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document patient data, identify needs, and communicate with registered nurses.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and make referrals as needed.
- Provide patient treatments, explain procedures, and advocate for patient rights.
- Record care delivery, observe for problems, and escalate issues to RNs.
- Implement cost-effective practices, participate in quality improvement, and adjust staffing based on patient needs.
- Perform assigned duties and support team operations.
- Completion of an accredited LPN program or recognized equivalency.
- Current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or state licensing authority.
- Less than 12 months of LPN experience; candidates with more experience are ineligible.
- If pursuing RN licensure, notify management upon obtaining RN license.
