Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Oversight: Manage daily patient care activities, ensuring adherence to care plans and regulatory standards
- Staff Supervision: Lead and mentor nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, fostering professional development and ensuring optimal performance
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the unit meets all federal and state healthcare regulations, as well as facility policies
- Family Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between residents, their families, and the healthcare team, addressing concerns and facilitating care discussions
- Administrative Duties: Oversee documentation, manage budgets, and participate in hiring and training processes, and other duties as assigned
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan OR (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
