Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks to residents in accordance with dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Restock and replenish food and supplies as needed
• Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure smooth meal service and maintain high-quality standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction and experience
  
  

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  
  

Work Environment

• Part-time schedule, varying shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
• Adira Nursing and Rehab is a 24/7 healthcare facility, and all staff are expected to be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts
