Diesel Mechanic

Job Overview

Preference Employment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dependable Industrial Mechanic / Heavy Equipment & Diesel Technician to join our manufacturing and maintenance team. This position is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery, heavy equipment, diesel-powered equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an industrial mechanic within a manufacturing facility environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, and precision measurement tools.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, CMMS software, and industrial electrical systems.
• Experience with HVAC/R systems maintenance is preferred.
• Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently.
• Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills in English.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately while following safety standards.
