Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure networking solutions, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, firewalls, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
- Implement Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Front Door, and Traffic Manager for application delivery.
- Ensure network security through segmentation, encryption, Zero Trust principles, and integration with Azure Firewall, Check Point firewalls, and third-party solutions.
- Monitor and optimize network performance using Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, and third-party observability tools.
- Collaborate with CloudOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure resilient, compliant, and cost-efficient solutions.
- Support troubleshooting of networking issues across hybrid and cloud environments.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Azure networking services (VNets, Peering, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Private Link, Azure Firewall).
- Hands-on experience with cloud security controls, identity-aware networking, and segmentation strategies.
- Knowledge of BGP, routing, DNS, and load balancing in cloud and cloud architectures.
- Experience integrating with SD-WAN, SASE, or third-party network security platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across OSI layers and cloud-native monitoring tools.
