What are the responsibilities and job description for the Polisher / Fabricator (Countertops) position at Precision Stoneworks?
Responsibilities
● Help the Loading / unloading of material on to machines
● Move material from one machine / area to the next in production line
● Hand polish or fabricate when needed
Must be able to fabricate mitered edges - will be tested
● Check finished product for defects / damage
● Communicate issues quickly with Shop Lead and/or Supervisor
● Stage installs and deliveries for pick-up
● Maintain cleanliness of shop areas
● Follow all company processes and protocols
● Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
● Previous countertop fabrication/polishing experience
● Possess basic mathematical and computer skills
● Able to stand for long periods of time
● Strong organization skills with attention to detail and accuracy
● Highly motivated, hard-working, and possess an outgoing and friendly attitude
while being willing to work independently as well as part of a team
● Enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced environment
● Able to lift 50 pounds
● Ability to work overtime as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
