Full Job Description
Job Expectations:
- The Saw Operator is an integral member of the Precision Stoneworks team, responsible for efficient operation of the Saw in order to attain the required precision cuts for each job.
- ***Position requires minimum 2-3 years BACA, Northwoods, Park or AutoCad experience***
- Follow Stone Profit Systems software to complete all saw activities.
- Inspect slabs for imperfections or unusable areas
- Manually layout and cut jobs according to job layouts
- Set/program tooling path to cut jobs
- Safe operation of overhead crane and forklift (loading/unloading)
- Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of equipment as required
- Preventive and routine; following lockout/tagout procedures
- Maintain an efficient, clean and organized work area
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to stone polishers as needed.
- Assist with shop housekeeping, maintenance and staging/loading as needed
- Work safely and responsibly, adhering to all company policies, safety policies, procedures and guidelines representing Precision Stoneworks.
- Ability to work un-supervised.· In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be organized, automated saw experience in stone fabrication, along with good computer skills, and a good understanding for CAD drawings and slab layouts.

Base Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
