We are seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Piping Designer with 2-5 years of experience to join our industrial design team. In this role, you will participate in the design and layout of industrial facilities, contributing to projects from concept through to completion. You will work closely with senior engineers and designers to develop detailed piping and equipment models.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and modify Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to meet project specifications.Perform 3D piping modeling and equipment modeling using CADWorx software.Create demolition drawings, general arrangement drawings, and detailed fabrication isometrics.Handle drawing dimensioning and annotation to ensure clarity and adherence to standards.Utilize Navisworks for model reviews, clash detection, and coordination with other disciplines.Collaborate with the project team using Microsoft Teams, and manage communications and documentation via Outlook and Excel.Required Qualifications2-5 years of experience in mechanical piping design and facility layout within industrial facilities (e.g., manufacturing, power, chemical, or oil & gas).Proficiency in CADWorx drafting software.Working knowledge of Navisworks for model navigation and review.Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook for daily tasks and collaboration.Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawings.Preferred QualificationsAssociate degree or technical certificate in Drafting, Design, or a related field.Basic understanding of piping materials and industrial plant operations.
