Job Description
- Proper diagnostic and problem solving in an immediate response situation to equipment failure, modifying electrical portion of production equipment and fabrication
- Responsible for all electrical maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems on production equipment and building related essential maintenance
- To check overall condition and operation of equipment on an ongoing and regular basis.
- Ensure full implementation of all relevant procedures and instructions and ensure documentation and records are maintained adherent to TS16949 Quality Systems.
- PLC training a plus
Qualifications
- 4 years apprenticeship or graduated from vocational/technical in electrical/electronic discipline and certification of qualification/or equivalent offsetting experience
- 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
- Licensed electrician
- Moderate understanding of electrical schematics and PLC’s
- Ability to make correct and expedient repairs under pressure
- Strong organizational/verbal communication skills in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize handling of situations
