SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR
Direct Hire role for our client in Pittsburgh, PA.
Workplace Type: Hybrid (3 days/week in office)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all phases of the audit process, including planning, fieldwork, reporting and wrap-up
- Deliver accurate and complete work papers and audit reports
- Evaluate internal controls
- Provide management with recommendations on process improvements, internal controls, and opportunities to reduce costs and increase cash flow
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with auditees and colleagues
- Continually focus on internal processes improvement, such as the audit program and general audit practices
- Other assigned duties and projects
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required
- Relevant certifications preferred but not required (CPA, CIA, CFE, or CISA)
- 3 years of auditing experience preferred
- Reliable, able to remain organized with competing projects, and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities, with the initiative to guide team members and support continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, proactively identifying and pursuing additional tasks and process improvements during periods of lower workload
- Excels both individually and in team settings
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Proficient in excel and experience with PowerBI preferred
- Domestic and International travel, up to 15-20%
- Foreign language proficiency (e.g., French, Spanish) a plus
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
