Job Overview
Precision Landscape and Maintenance is seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing irrigation systems across a portfolio of commercial properties, HOAs, and high-end landscapes.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands irrigation systems in depth, and can operate independently while delivering high-quality service to our clients.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Irrigation System Maintenance & Repair
- Diagnose and repair irrigation systems including valves, controllers, wiring, lateral lines, and mainlines
- Perform spring startups, system checks, and fall winterizations
- Identify leaks, pressure issues, and inefficiencies
- Replace and adjust sprinkler heads, drip systems, and emitters
- Troubleshoot electrical issues (solenoids, controllers, wiring faults)
System Optimization & Water Management
- Adjust irrigation schedules based on seasonal needs and weather conditions
- Ensure efficient water usage, especially under drought or restricted conditions
- Monitor and improve coverage, eliminating dry spots and overspray
- Work with water sources such as ditch systems and HOA-managed supply
Inspections & Reporting
- Perform routine inspections across multiple properties
- Document repairs, recommendations, and system conditions
- Communicate issues clearly with management and property managers
- Assist in creating reports for HOA boards and clients when needed
Field Operations
- Work independently across multiple job sites daily
- Operate company vehicles and maintain tools/equipment
- Coordinate with maintenance crews and supervisors
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance on job sites
What We’re Looking ForRequired Skills & Experience
- 2 years of irrigation experience preferred
- Strong understanding of irrigation systems and components
- Ability to troubleshoot both hydraulic and electrical issues
- Experience with controllers (Hunter, Rain Bird, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on HOA or commercial properties
- Knowledge of water conservation best practices in Colorado
- Experience with large-scale systems (multi-zone, shared water sources)

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
