Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist – Acute Care
Location: Milford, Massachusetts
Rate: Up to $2,800 Gross Weekly benefits available from day 1
Shift: Days, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00a–4:30p
Contract: 13 weeks | Start date 9/28/2026 or 10/12/2026
Hours: 40 hours/week
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
- Acute care hospital experience required
- Active Massachusetts PT license
- Local and travel candidates accepted
- Experience working with adult and geriatric patients
- Experience with acute care patients in Orthopedics, ICU, Oncology, and Neurology
- Epic experience preferred
Certifications: BLS
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide physical therapy treatment to acute care patients
- Perform assessments, reassessments, and functional mobility evaluations
- Provide gait training and assist with safe transfers and mobility
- Develop and document short- and long-term goals
- Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust plans of care as needed
- Provide patient and family education
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient recovery and safe discharge
